Unity Intercom is a modern network-based full-duplex intercom system that offers a user-friendly experience while delivering powerful performance comparable to higher-priced traditional systems. To utilize the Unity Intercom app, Unity Intercom Server is required.

Unity Intercom serves diverse purposes, such as:

• Fleet/delivery management

• Hospitality personnel
• Construction/installation crews
• And various other applications

It functions across any IP based network, supporting both Wi-Fi and Cellular data connections. Users have the flexibility to communicate within the same network or globally over the internet.

The audio quality of Unity Intercom is exceptionally clear with minimal latency, surpassing standard cell phone communications.

Additionally, Unity Server offers an external program feed feature, with the option to upgrade for a customized Program Feed.

With support for up to 128 channels in groups of 6 and a standard limit of 63 users, Unity Intercom provides extensive user control. Users can be allocated varying levels of access to the channels for talk/listen, listen only, or no access. Extra users can be acquired, allowing a maximum of 63 simultaneous users on the Unity system. Server upgrades offer unlimited user scalability.

The system seamlessly integrates with external audio I/O, enabling audio routing to and from an external Com system. This facilitates the creation of wireless communication stations compatible with traditional hard-wired intercom systems across existing networks.

In terms of features, Unity Intercom supports external tally information. The Unity server can be enhanced to receive tally data from different video switching systems and transmit this data to remote Unity app users. This functionality effectively turns Unity iOS devices into practical tally lights, offering both preview and on-air talent tally features – particularly beneficial in production environments.
